Colossians 3:16-17 Let the word of the Messiah inhabit you richly with wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and singing to God with thankfulness in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether by speech or action, do everything int he name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
The word of the Messiah is to dwell in full measure in each believer. Being equipped with the word and controlled by the truth we are able to bless and help others - in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another. What we have is not given for ourselves alone. We are to be ready to communicate. The consequences of being controlled by the Word of God, our lives will be lyrical and our hearts filled with melody, in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord.
Holiness and happiness go together.
Nehemiah 8:10 The joy of the Lord is my strength.
There is no happiness found in selfishness. Jesus said, "I am not to do my own will, but the will of Him that sent me," (John 6:38)
A Word-filled Christian, so filled that it dominates his entire life, is a Spirit-filled Christian..

Wise Behavior = Be careful how you live. Do not be unwise but wise, making the best use of your time because the times are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Stop getting drunk with wine, which leads to wild living, but keep on being filled with the Spirit.
