He is Worthy of Worship

Psalm 36:5-9 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens, and thy faithfulness reaches unto the clouds. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, Thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is Thy loving-kindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house, and Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures. For with Thee is the fountain of life: in Thy light shall we see light.

5. Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens. Divine mercy abides in the vastness of the ethereal blue sky, which encompasses the whole earth, unbounded and smiling down on creation despite its transgressions.

Thy faithfulness reaches unto the clouds. Clouds of affliction are surrounded by divine truth, the truth of His everlasting faithfulness.

6. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains. Majestic, unmoving, lofty, unshaken by winds and gales, mountains are like God's righteousness, which is never affected by tempests.

Thy justice is a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast. As the earth's waters reflect the heavens, the mercy of the Lord is reflected in His creation, and the comfort found in His faithfulness is cast upon all the earth.

7. How excellent is Thy loving-kindness, O God? Kindness, mercy, and justice are seen clearly in God's creation. But step into the Holy of Holies and experience the Lord's brighter presence and mercy. A great understanding of God's love for you is more precious than pearls or gemstones. Therefore, Thy children take refuge in the shadow of Thy wings.

Know the excellency of this blessed shelter and feel at rest. Have no fear under The Father's wings.

What causes our hearts to humbly bow in awe and admiration before the God of all creation? Look to the heavens and see His mercy. Look beyond the clouds and see His faithfulness. Look to the great mountains to see His righteousness and the great seas to see His justice. The excellency of His loving kindness is a blessed shelter where we can find rest for our souls and have no fear under The Father's wings.
